Through the platform, IECs and academic advisors can receive student inquiries, send proposals, guide students through the admissions process and all related academic and career aspects, and manage each student journey in a more structured, effective and efficient manner.
How do I work with students on UniGuideMe?
Students can reach out to IECs and academic experts through the platform based on their academic credentials, strengths, goals and requirements. As an IEC, you can chat with students, understand their needs, send a proposal, and guide them through the process once they choose to work with you.
Can I customize the journey for each student?
Yes. UniGuideMe allows IECs and academic advisors to set up their own journey structure and tailor it based on each student's needs. This gives you flexibility to provide guidance in a way that fits your strategy, approach and process while keeping everything organized.
How do payments work for educational consultants?
Students pay 50% of the agreed fee upfront when they accept a proposal, and the remaining 50% is paid in September of their Senior Year. IEC payouts are based on the fees they set for their services through the platform.
Can I speak with students before they accept a proposal?
Yes. UniGuideMe allows IECs and students to connect before a proposal is accepted, so both sides can better understand fit, expectations, and the kind of support required prior to moving forward.
